education sector
Provides scholastic materials in different schools and offers scholarships both at the primary and secondary level, with now over 148 schools children drawing school
fees annually from the foundation.
Through mobilising friends, Dr Nicholas Mwebesa Foundation annually organises children’s study tours to enrich their potential and exposure.
Health sector
Constructed 40-bed patient Kasaana Health Centre 2 is now ready for commissioning which is going to be donated to the community.
Agriculture sector
Established Kyeihara Hills Tea estate that is currently employing over 80 people. This has enabled the people in the community to get income which income has facilitated different human basic needs like school fees etC
Faith Based sector
The foundation supports different churches and mosques through fundraising and donations. Recently donated church floor tiles and sound systems, Notably Murari COU, Nyakabirizi Catholic Hiika, Kasaana COU, Kagati and Nyamambo Full gospel churches among others.
Homestead Financial Empowerment
Through financial literacy and saving sensitizations, the foundation has encouraged and established “Obu-Box” Village SACCOS in our community as a way of promoting saving culture at the village level as well as promoting and creating awareness of the government program of PDM.
The youth and Women especially have been organised to form groups, 2 part cells where they have been trained how to save and borrow among themselves. The foundation has supported each group with a seed of Ugx.100, 000 /=
